ONE OF THE BEST MOWERS OF ALL TIME
  • The first point is it has only one belt, that rarely you have
    to change.
  • The second point is it has only one blade, so all your
    horsepower is going to it.
  • Third is the blade spindle pulley or jack shaft assyembly as
far as I KNOW MOST NEVER GOES OUT.
  • Fourth point is there are no drive belts, just one disc to
    replace ever so many years.
  • As far as I AM CONCERNED the best rearend or
transmission set up except maybe for true hydrostatic
    transmission.
  • If you havent guessed by now its a SNAPPER REAR
    ENGINE RIDER!

WORST RIDING MOWER
ARCHIVES
The snapper in the photo below is fixing to go through its second
engine, and the frame probably will see a third engine in its
lifetime. Some of the older, handle bar type steering models are
still running, and I HAVE NEVER SEEN the spindle assembly go
bad on one of these single blade models. They will however go
through some engines in their lifetimes, however most of the time
you can bolt on whatever hp you want to and be ready for the
next season.Plus it was one of the first shift on the go
mowers, since you dont have to clutch it to change speeds.

Dollar for dollar well worth the price in the long run, as far as
maintenance and overall value.
